The Mother

Let's see, this week my mom sent us a package filled with valentine's day cookies and speaking hearts, prayed for my thesis and husband's presentation, and is now sending me (for the second time since I lost the first one) a copy of the best potato soup recipe in the world, courtesy of the Circle Christian School co-op from our Florida days. And I'm just one of the four. Thanks, Mom.

i remember looking at that picture when i was little. i was afraid of the bedside table- it looked like a semi truck that was coming out of the picture to get me. I would shut my eyes tight and snuggle down into the covers so i wouldn't see it.

Ohhh, I love that picture - Nanny and Papa brought that to me after David was born - it was a reminder to us all of little Kendall who was sooo upset to visit me in the hospital behind the screened glass - when she woke up the next morning and Nanny brought her to my bed and she saw me there - all was well. It does look a bit like Kendall and some of the expressions she had as a child.

Thanks for that precious memory.

I heard that that potato soup was absolutely great. I spoke with Grant earlier, and he told me that the whole meal was outstanding.

PS: This isn't Grant

PPS: He also said something about how the girls got "out-euchred" despite numerous shnanagins

Kelly,

I don't know, yo etc. seems to have become part of our little community. I hate to send him/her out into the cold, but we do need to be careful--there are a lot of crazy people out there...

Mom, Glad you like the picture and also that you read this blog.

Boo, Your funny imagination never ceases to surprise/amaze me.
