36 Weeks Ya'll

If you scroll down to my lil ticker at the bottom of this page, you'll note that I'm now technically 36 weeks pregnant. This is one of my final landmarks. To get through this pregnancy I have held up a number of "markers" to look forward to along the way. Here's what they were:
1. 10 weeks: telling our families at Christmas break
2. 13 weeks: officially making it through my first trimester and starting to tell people at church and work
3. 20 weeks: getting our ultrasound, finding out the baby's sex, and being able to say I'm "5 months along!"
4. 24 weeks: thinking "I'm 6 months pregnant!"--and also starting to show--also making it to the third trimester
5. 29 weeks: going to MN to see my girl friends
6. 30 weeks: quitting my job! and going on family vacation
7. 33 weeks: Ikea trip, getting rigged for the nursery, etc.
8. 35 weeks: Kelly's & my family's visit, my Shower!
9. 36 weeks: knowing that I'm on the home stretch and starting to freak out about being a mom

I just have a few more "landmarks": the completion of our nursery (hopefully this weekend), 4th of July, one more intensive birthing class with husband on July 14th...I think I need to come up with a few more.
