Every dog has its bad habits. One of Una's is tearing. Above she is tearing up a toy. Another thing she Loves to tear is kleenex. Sometimes she sits there and pulls them out of the box, one after the next.
Today I came home sick from work (AGAIN). I don't know if I'm suffering from another cold or allergies, or Valley Fever (the latest safety warning issued at work for the benefit of employee paranoia), but anyway. I spent the afternoon on the couch in a half-sleep state praying that at least one nostril might clear and dreaming about snorkels.
Una (bless her heart) got busy with the kleenex. To my chagrin the doorbell rang--Terminix Man come to spray the house. Yours truly did not have time to clean up Una's 5 foot radius mess of shredded Puffs. I had to laugh at our great impression: psycho girl throwing a confetti party for herself? Tylenol parade? I think Mr. Terminix figured it out, but it took me awhile in my sinus-blur to put that together. My head is getting fuzzy...

funny tho, jaxon also loves the kleenex box. so i take out the kleenex and give him the box. he also loves the following: chewing on cords, licking trash cans (esp. ones that reflect) shoes, tires, remotes and get this, purses. he LOVES my purse, so i gave him one of his own and filled it with little things, and he carries it around...so funny.
oh sorry, this was meant to be a pity comment, not one about my awesome baby....but you know how it is.... hope you feel better soon. oh ps. did you see? peter pan is out of the disney vault!! horray!
You know, I was going to mention that this is probably similar to baby-behavior...but I didn't want to presume!
It was just funny cause when the terminix guy came through Una was nowhere near the mess so it looked like I had done it or something.
una looks so proud of the mess she made!! sorry you're not feeling well!
yeah ... i can't give our puppy fuzz-filled (or fuzzy, or rope-like, or rubber ... or basically anything but a kong) toys because he LOVES to tear into it and drag stuffing throughout the house ... or worse, eat the stuffing. he enjoys eating the green fuzz off of tennis balls, which comes out later in odd ways. (ew.) so, i feel ya on the dog dilemas. :)
